hydrogenn 0 Report post Posted 4 hours ago ExpressVPN is useful for traders but know the rules. Legitimate uses: protect trades on public WiFi (prevent order interception), access trading platforms abroad, prevent ISP throttling during high-volume trading, protect against DDoS (some traders get targeted), access research sites blocked in your region. Potential issues: some brokers ban VPN use (check ToS), can trigger security flags (appear to login from different country), may add latency (milliseconds matter for day trading). I'm forex trader, use ExpressVPN for: pre-market research from hotel WiFi when traveling, protecting API keys when developing trading bots, accessing TradingView from countries where it's blocked. Don't use VPN during actual trade execution (latency risk) unless you're swing trader where seconds don't matter. For day trading, use direct connection. ExpressVPN has feature to set specific apps to bypass VPN (split tunneling) - route trading platform direct, everything else through VPN. Always test latency before live trading.
